Kolkata: After nearly 100-day closure owing to the coronavirus-triggered lockdown, Kolkata’s well-known Kalighat Temple lastly reopened its doorways to devotees on Wednesday.

Following stringent tips, devotees thronged the temple premises within the morning. The gates of the temple have been opened at 6 am.

According to sources on the Kalighat Temple, the devotees must move by a sanitizing channel, a protracted hall that can spray sanitizers on all of the outsiders who will enter the temple premises. No one might be allowed inside the primary shrine of the century-old shrine.
