New Delhi: Asserting that there was no knowledge on precise numbers, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Monday stated that about 80-90 health workers in the town have examined optimistic for coronavirus, with majority from non-COVID hospitals.

Speaking to the media right here, Jain stated the circumstances are usually not being reported from the COVID-dedicated hospital.

“We have found that in the COVID-dedicated hospitals the staffers are not testing positive. The health workers from non-COVID hospitals are testing positive,” Jain stated.

He stated there are two COVID-dedicated hospitals in Delhi — Rajiv Gandhi and Lok Nayak Hospitals.

“The positive cases in these are very rare. The cases are coming from other locations. It means they are not taking proper precautions. We have issued directions for the healthcare workers. We cannot stop a COVID patient. A person can go to a hospital if they feel unwell,” Jain stated.

The Health Minister additionally stated that the health workers in a non-COVID hospitals ought to imagine that any individual could be a service of coronavirus.
