Current women‘s head coach WV Raman, former coach Ramesh Powar, ex-India gamers Ajay Ratra and Hrishikesh Kanitkar appeared for digital interviews carried out by Madan Lal-led Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) on Wednesday. Out of 35 purposes, eight India internationals had been shortlisted for interviews, which included 4 males and 4 ladies. While the 4 male candidates had been interviewed on the day, the 4 feminine candidates Mamtha Maben, Devika Vaidya, former chairman of selectors Hemlatha Kala and Suman Sharma can be interviewed on Thursday.

“Four interviews were conducted today. All the four candidates came well prepared. The remaining four interviews will be conducted tomorrow,” CAC head Madan Lal instructed PTI on Wednesday.

Two CAC members — Lal and Sulakshana Naik — had been current as RP Singh could not be a part of as his father died on Wednesday.


It is learnt that each one the 4 candidates gave good displays and their interviews ran between 35 to 45 minutes with intensive dialogue on the roadmap going into subsequent 12 months’s ODI World Cup.
